Kiss & Make Up is the Guardian-acclaimed monthly 'slumming soiree' of music to love, home baking to enjoy and dancing to do. Or you are welcome to just sit still and drink, we don't mind.

Expect a Friday-night-friendly mix of cheery pop, soft rock and indie old and new to tip you giddily into the weekend. It's like a brilliant party in your friend's sitting room. Only it's in a pub where there are more sofas, a quiz machine, and the drunkest one isn't staring into the fridge, saying 'shall I go to the offy? We're nearly out of Cointreau.'

First Friday of every month, 8 until quite late. Free entry.

This week we have a lBoys Vs Girls theme...prefer Oasis? Take That? East 17? The Betales? Or are you loving Kenickie? Atomic Kitten? Destiny's Child or The Spice Girls...We'll be bringing you as many single sexed groups as we can and the usual 19 Girls Aloud songs with it..

PiE&MASH is Vauxhall's popular pie, mash and tunes night. We serve actual home cooked pie and mash, and we play actual interesting music, all the crazy way from Belle Stars to Little Boots, via all manner of indie, electronica and sonic nuggetry. We pull a great friendly crowd every month, and have been recommended by TimeOut, The London Paper, The Guardian Guide and your Mum.

The Sunday Supplement
Every Sunday

Dinners will now be served every Sunday from 2pm - 5pm. From 2pm we have a new regular musical interlude hosted each week by one of four disc jockeys, picking the more gentle pops from over 50 years for you to sit back, chat, play games, read the newspapers and don't forget to visit the bar! So while it's cold outside, come to the Griffin, eat one of our fantastic Sunday roasts and then settle back in to one of our sofas and enjoy melodic tunes ranging from Billie Holiday and Alma Cogan to The Flaming Lips and Peter, Bjorn and John.

Hayley nevermind, Bid-Up, David B and not forgetting Kiss and Make Up's Stuart serve up a good slice of relaxed snooze-music to help your food go down.

CINEMA
Every Sunday

Every week we will be showing movies as part of a monthly themed season including works by notable directors such as Hitchcock, Wilder or Scorcese, actors or simply genres such as ‘50’s America or post war Britain. We will be setting up a membership scheme that allows members reduced admission, priority booking for all films and more importantly -free popcorn!!

CINEMA is held in the comfort of the Ruby Lounge every Sunday of the month. There are 25 seats that can be reserved in advance by members.

Films will start at 7:30pm without interruption. There will be a barperson to take drinks orders and snacks will be available. The Ruby Lounge capacity for Cinema is 25 and seats will be available on a first come-first served basis. The first season = British Horror:
