In March 2011, the Griffin became only the second pub in the SW8 area to achieve the Cask Marque award, an accolade that guarantees quality in our selection of superb cask ales from around the country.
Our resident ale is Sharp’s Doom Bar, a delicious session bitter from the Rock Brewery in Cornwall.
As a committed supporter of smaller breweries, we offer two guest ales at any one time, on rotation from a wide selection of 60.
We are also proud to receive ales from micro-breweries within a 30-mile radius of London.
Formed in 1980, The Small Independent Brewers' Association represents the interests of the emerging new wave of microbrewers. Our ever-changing selection spans more than 100 beers. National favourites like Yorkshire's Timothy Taylor's Landlord and the delicious, deceptively light Summer Lightning from Hopback sit alongside more local beers from the Windsor and Eton Brewery, and Sambrooks in Battersea.
We also hold a bi-annual beer festival which allows us to sample new independently produced ales. If you don't usually drink real ale, we're a great place to start. Come and sample our selection.
